Mystery has always surrounded Elena Ferrante. His identity has been one of the greatest cultural mysteries of our time and, now that it is known that the translator Anita Raja could hide behind his pseudonym, the unknowns hover over his next novel.
After a silence of four years, we have just learned that the next novel by the Neapolitan author will go on sale in Italy on November 7. It has been announced by Edizioni E / O, the Italian publisher that publishes its books in this country, on Twitter.

It has been followed by Europa Editions, which publishes Ferrante in English, with another tweet in which has advanced a small excerpt from the novel in the language of Shakespeare.

The advance, which begins like this: "Two years before leaving the house, my father told my father that I was very ugly," it serves as an appetizer to leave us with honey on our lips and be certain that we are facing a new success of the author of The great friend.
However, still the title of the book will not have been revealed. It is known that it will happen in Naples, as is usual in the stories of Ferrante.
Nor is it known yet when this book could reach Spanish bookstores. Lumen, the publishing house that publishes Ferrante in our country, plans to launch in November The occasional invention, a volume that compiles fifty unpublished texts in Spanish by the author, originally published in The guardian.
