For recording your 2017 Cruise campaign, Alessandro Michele has moved with all its troupe to the English countryside. Specifically to Chatsworth Castle, home of the Dukes of Devonshire.
That the brand new designer of Gucci everything that has to do with England is something that we had already realized. So he has not hesitated to mix clothes inspired by the punk subculture from the end of 70's, which used to look the youth of the time, with the wonderful gardens and landscapes of this location.
Among these young rebels - filmed with what looks like an old camera shot with super 8 film - further highlights the presence of the actress Vanessa Redgrave providing a portrait of the most eclectic of the british spirit which, apparently, indicates a triennial cultural collaboration between Gucci and Chatsworth.
Personally I have to recognize that the contrast between Romantic Y decadent of the English countryside, its colors, its chickens and geese, and dogs framing a group of young people from grunge style and of punk attitude I am entertained playing in the gardens inside the halls.
A campaign starring as I told you by Vanessa Redgrave surrounded by the models Hannelore Knuts, Ellen De Weer, Sophia Friesen, Nika Cole, Dwight Hoogendijk, Nick Fortna, Conner Rowson, and Victor Kusma led by Glen Luchford with a styling of Joe McKenna, and with background music of the song “My Perfect Cousin” by Damian O'Neill and Michael Bradley (The Undertones, 1980).
